The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.4.57, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 57 of Antya-khanda chapter 4—“Descriptions of Shri Acyutananda’s Pastimes and the Worship of Shri Madhavendra”.

এই নিজ রাজ্যেই আমারে কত জনে মন্দ করিবারে লাগিযাছে মনে মনে ॥ ৫৭ ॥

एइ निज राज्येइ आमारे कत जने मन्द करिबारे लागियाछे मने मने ॥ ५७ ॥

ei nija rājyei āmāre kata jane manda karibāre lāgiyāche mane mane || 57 ||

ei nija rajyei amare kata jane manda karibare lagiyache mane mane (57)

English translation:

(57) “Even some persons in my own kingdom have begun conspiring to harm me.

TEXT 58

tāṅhāre sakala deśe kāya-vākya-mane īśvara nahile vinā-arthe bhaje kene?

“But the people of all places respect Him with their body, mind, and speech. Why would they worship Him if He were not God?
