The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.3.29, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 29 of Adi-khanda chapter 3—“Calculation of the Lord’s Horoscope”.

শুনি’ জগন্নাথ-মিশ্র পুত্রের আখ্যান আনন্দে বিহ্বল, বিপ্রে দিতে চাহে দান ॥ ২৯ ॥

शुनि’ जगन्नाथ-मिश्र पुत्रेर आख्यान आनन्दे विह्वल, विप्रे दिते चाहे दान ॥ २९ ॥

śuni’ jagannātha-miśra putrera ākhyāna ānande vihvala, vipre dite cāhe dāna || 29 ||

suni’ jagannatha-misra putrera akhyana anande vihvala, vipre dite cahe dana (29)

English translation:

(29) Jagannātha Miśra was overwhelmed with ecstasy upon hearing the child’s glories, and he desired to give something in charity to the

brāhmaṇa.
