The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.3.30, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 30 of Adi-khanda chapter 3—“Calculation of the Lord’s Horoscope”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.3.30:

কিছু নাহি—সুদরিদ্র, তথাপি আনন্দে বিপ্রের চরণে ধরি’ মিশ্র-চন্দ্র কান্দে ॥ ৩০ ॥

किछु नाहि—सुदरिद्र, तथापि आनन्दे विप्रेर चरणे धरि’ मिश्र-चन्द्र कान्दे ॥ ३० ॥

kichu nāhi—sudaridra, tathāpi ānande viprera caraṇe dhari’ miśra-candra kānde || 30 ||

kichu nahi—sudaridra, tathapi anande viprera carane dhari’ misra-candra kande (30)

English translation:

(30) But because Jagannātha Miśra was extremely poor, he simply took hold of the brāhmaṇa’s feet and cried.
