Truth of Cessation:—A technical term in Buddhism corresponding to the Sanskrit nirodhasatya defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 99):

  1. Relating to cessation (nirodhata),
  2. Relating to peace (śāntata),
  3. Relating to performance (praṇītata),
  4. Relating to escape (niḥsaraṇata).

The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (e.g., ‘truth of cessation’). The work is attributed to Nagarguna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
