Truth of Arising:—A technical term in Buddhism corresponding to the Sanskrit duḥkhasatya defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 98).

  1. Relating to cause (hetuta),
  2. Relating to arising (samudayata),
  3. Relating to birth (prabhavata),
  4. Relating to conditions (pratyayata).

The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (e.g., ‘truth of arising’). The work is attributed to Nagarguna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
