Source: Google Books: ManthanabhairavatantramŚrīpaścima (श्रीपश्चिम) refers to the “venerable Western (house)”, according to the Manthānabhairavatantra, a vast sprawling work that belongs to a corpus of Tantric texts concerned with the worship of the goddess Kubjikā.—Accordingly, “[...] The Western House is the Pure One and is above all (others) and so, free of Dharma and Adharma, its special (excellence) is (well) known. It certainly gives liberation in every way at the end of the Kali Age. The House in the Kṛta Age is the Eastern one. The Southern House is in the Tretā (Age). The Northen one is the House in the Dvāpara (Age) and the venerable Western (śrīpaścima) one is the House in the Age of Strife”.
