Source: academia.edu: A Study and Translation of the GaganagañjaparipṛcchāSamatāpratiṣṭhita (समताप्रतिष्ठित) refers to “they who abide in the universal sameness”, according to the Gaganagañjaparipṛcchā: the eighth chapter of the Mahāsaṃnipāta (a collection of Mahāyāna Buddhist Sūtras).—Accordingly, “Then, the Lord went on to speak these verses: ‘[...] (76) Even if they are in the state of universal sameness, there is nothing to be attained because it is beyond distinguishing marks (animitta). They who abide in the universal sameness (samatāpratiṣṭhita) are always in the state of concentration. [...]’”.
