(In space or in time.) 2 To increase in length, extent, duration--a thing, a matter or an affair, a tale. 3 To be increased in quantity and thus made to go farther--a dish of food, by the addition of water, milk &c. 4 To extend far and wide; to obtain great circulation--a report. lāmbatā dharaṇēṃ To protract, prolong, draw out (by proceeding slowly or leisurely). Ex. dōna gṛhastha yēṇāra āhēta jarāśī kathā lāmbatī dharā.
