kēvhāṃ (केव्हां).—ad When? Interrogatively. 2 (esp. when pronounced with emphasis.) At any time whatever, ever. Neg. con. Ex. mī kēvhāṃ gēlōṃ nāhīṃ I never went. 3 Sometimes. Ex. junīṃ vastrēṃ mī tulā kēvhāṃ tarīṃ dētēṃ kharēṃ. 4 When; at what time. Ex. tō kēvhāṃ ālā malā ṭhāūka nāhīṃ. 5 Betwixt kēvhāṃ When? and kadhīṃ. When? there is a distinction to be drawn. kēvhāṃ refers to recent time, kadhīṃ to time long past.
