Kaṇṭhasūtra (कण्ठसूत्र).—a kind of embrace; (thus defined :-yatkurvate vakṣasi vallabhasya stanābhighātaṃ nibiḍopagṛhāt | pariśramārthaṃ śanakairvidagdhā- statkaṇṭhasūtraṃ pravadanti santaḥ ||); कण्ठसूत्रमपदिश्य योषितः (kaṇṭhasūtramapadiśya yoṣitaḥ) R.19.32.
