This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 87.54

आदित्यो व तपन्तो शरदस्मिं उद्गतो यथाकाशे ।
योजनशतं प्रभाये दीपंकरो स्फरित्वास्थासि ॥ ५४ ॥

ādityo va tapanto śaradasmiṃ udgato yathākāśe |
yojanaśataṃ prabhāye dīpaṃkaro spharitvāsthāsi || 54 ||

“Like the blazing sun when it is high in the sky in autumn, so did Dipamkara stand with his radiance pervading a hundred yojanas. (54)
