OṂ EHYEHI BHAGAVĀN MAHĀKARUṆIKA DṚŚYA HOḤ SAMAYAS TVAṂ

Commentary:
[iii. Thirdly, (see p. 689) there are the mantras which completely perfect enlightened activity. The first group of these comprise the mantras of invitation and absorption, (commenting on Ch. 7.9):]
OṂ EHYEHI BHAGAVĀN MAHĀKARUṆIKA DṚŚYA HOḤ SAMAYASTVAṂ means Come here! Transcendent Lord endowed with great spirituality. Look with compassion! Assume the commitments!" JAḤ HŪṂ VAṂ HOḤ are the mantras which respectively summon with the iron hook (of Aṅkuśā), bind with the lasso (of Pāśā), tie with the iron chain (of Sphoṭā) and overpower with the bell (of Gaṇṭhā).
