अस्मत्तो ब्राह्मणा ये स्युः श्रेयांसः शास्त्रवेदिनः ।
तेषामासनदानेन श्रमापनयनं कुरु ॥ १७५ ॥

asmatto brāhmaṇā ye syuḥ śreyāṃsaḥ śāstravedinaḥ |
teṣāmāsanadānena śramāpanayanaṃ kuru || 175 ||

English translation of verse 1.175:

By the offering of a seat you must remove the fatigue of those Brāhmaṇas who are well-versed in Scripture and who are superior to us.
