तेषामाख्यायिकायां वा न वाच्यं सम्भ्रमात्त्वया ।
तदुक्तसारं त्वादाय नापकार्यं यथाबलम् ॥ १७६ ॥
teṣāmākhyāyikāyāṃ vā na vācyaṃ sambhramāttvayā |
taduktasāraṃ tvādāya nāpakāryaṃ yathābalam || 176 ||
English translation of verse 1.176:
Or, in their discourses, you should not speak anything in haste. Grasping the essence of what they say, you should never thwart them, if ever you have the ability to do so.
