The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.7.4; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अत्र निष्ठीवनं वक्त्र-कूणनं घ्राण-संवृतिः ।
धावनं कम्प-पुलक-प्रस्वेदाद्याश् च विक्रियाः ॥४.७.४॥

atra niṣṭhīvanaṃ vaktra-kūṇanaṃ ghrāṇa-saṃvṛtiḥ |
dhāvanaṃ kampa-pulaka-prasvedādyāś ca vikriyāḥ
||4.7.4||

English translation

“The anubhāvas of this rasa are spitting, distorting the face in disgust, covering the nose, running, quivering of the body, hair standing on end and perspiration.”
