The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.4.5; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अनुभावा मुखे शोषो विलापः स्रस्त-गात्रता ।
श्वास-क्रोशन-भूपात-घातोरस् ताडनादयः ॥४.४.५॥

anubhāvā mukhe śoṣo vilāpaḥ srasta-gātratā |
śvāsa-krośana-bhūpāta-ghātoras tāḍanādayaḥ
||4.4.5||

English translation

“The anubhāvas are drying of the mouth, moaning, slackening of the body, heavy breathing, shouting, falling on the ground, beating the ground with the fist and beating the chest.”
