The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.1.23; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अथ पादाब्ज-तुलसी-गन्धो, यथा तृतीये (३.१५.४३) —
तस्यारविन्द-नयनस्य पदारविन्द-
किञ्जल्क-मिश्र-तुलसी-मकरन्द-वायुः ।
अन्तर्-गतः स्व-विवरेण चकार तेषां
सङ्क्षोभम् अक्षर-जुषाम् अपि चित्त-तन्वोः ॥३.१.२३॥atha pādābja-tulasī-gandho, yathā tṛtīye (3.15.43) —
tasyāravinda-nayanasya padāravinda-
kiñjalka-miśra-tulasī-makaranda-vāyuḥ |
antar-gataḥ sva-vivareṇa cakāra teṣāṃ
saṅkṣobham akṣara-juṣām api citta-tanvoḥ ||3.1.23||
English translation
The fragrance of tulasī, from the Third Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam [3.15.43]:
“When the breeze carrying the aroma of tulasī leaves from the toes of the lotus feet of the Personality of Godhead entered the nostrils of those sages, they experienced a change both in body and in mind, even though they were attached to the impersonal Brahman understanding.”
