The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.199 ; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अथ निज-प्रियोपहरणं, यथा एकादशे (११.११.४१) —
यद् यद् इष्टतमं लोके यच् चाति-प्रियम् आत्मनः ।
तत् तन् निवेदयेन् मह्यं तद् आनन्त्याय कल्पते ॥१.२.१९९ ॥

atha nija-priyopaharaṇaṃ, yathā ekādaśe (11.11.41) —
yad yad iṣṭatamaṃ loke yac cāti-priyam ātmanaḥ |
tat tan nivedayen mahyaṃ tad ānantyāya kalpate
||1.2.199 ||

English translation

Offering articles dear to oneself, illustrated in the Eleventh Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam [11.11.41]:
“Whatever is most desired by one within this material world, and whatever is most dear to oneself—one should offer that very thing to Me. Such an offering qualifies one for eternal life.”
