The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.1.6; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

भक्ति-रसस्य प्रस्तुतिर् अखिल-जगङ्-मङ्गल-प्रसङ्गस्य ।
अज्ञेनापि मयास्य क्रियते सुहृदाम् प्रमोदाय ॥१.१.६॥

bhakti-rasasya prastutir akhila-jagaṅ-maṅgala-prasaṅgasya |
ajñenāpi mayāsya kriyate suhṛdām pramodāya
||1.1.6||

English translation

“Although I am ignorant, I have undertaken this work concerning bhakti-rasa related to Kṛṣṇa, who is auspicious for the whole world, for the joy of my friends.”
