प्रति॑ के॒तव॑: प्रथ॒मा अ॑दृश्रन्नू॒र्ध्वा अ॑स्या अ॒ञ्जयो॒ वि श्र॑यन्ते । उषो॑ अ॒र्वाचा॑ बृह॒ता रथे॑न॒ ज्योति॑ष्मता वा॒मम॒स्मभ्यं॑ वक्षि ॥
प्रति केतवः प्रथमा अदृश्रन्नूर्ध्वा अस्या अञ्जयो वि श्रयन्ते । उषो अर्वाचा बृहता रथेन ज्योतिष्मता वाममस्मभ्यं वक्षि ॥
prati ketavaḥ prathamā adṛśrann ūrdhvā asyā añjayo vi śrayante | uṣo arvācā bṛhatā rathena jyotiṣmatā vāmam asmabhyaṃ vakṣi ||
English translation:
“The first signs of the Dawn are visible, her rays are spreading not high; you bring us, Uṣas, desirable(riches) in your vast, descending and resplendent chariot.”
