प्र द्यावा॑ य॒ज्ञैः पृ॑थि॒वी नमो॑भिः स॒बाध॑ ईळे बृह॒ती यज॑त्रे । ते चि॒द्धि पूर्वे॑ क॒वयो॑ गृ॒णन्त॑: पु॒रो म॒ही द॑धि॒रे दे॒वपु॑त्रे ॥
प्र द्यावा यज्ञैः पृथिवी नमोभिः सबाध ईळे बृहती यजत्रे । ते चिद्धि पूर्वे कवयो गृणन्तः पुरो मही दधिरे देवपुत्रे ॥
pra dyāvā yajñaiḥ pṛthivī namobhiḥ sabādha īḻe bṛhatī yajatre | te cid dhi pūrve kavayo gṛṇantaḥ puro mahī dadhire devaputre ||
English translation:
“Attended by a concourse (of priests) I worship the adorable and mighty Heaven and Earth withsacrifices and praises, those wo great ones of whom the gods are the sons, whom ancient sages glorifying haveformerly detained.”
