Rig Veda 7.1.15

सेद॒ग्निर्यो व॑नुष्य॒तो नि॒पाति॑ समे॒द्धार॒मंह॑स उरु॒ष्यात् । सु॒जा॒तास॒: परि॑ चरन्ति वी॒राः ॥
सेदग्निर्यो वनुष्यतो निपाति समेद्धारमंहस उरुष्यात् । सुजातासः परि चरन्ति वीराः ॥
sed agnir yo vanuṣyato nipāti sameddhāram aṃhasa uruṣyāt | sujātāsaḥ pari caranti vīrāḥ ||
English translation:
“Verily is he Agni, who defends from the malevolent and from heinous sin (the worshipper) kindling (thefire); he (it is) whom the well-born worshippers adore.”
