The Garga-samhita Verse 8.13.134, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 8 of Chapter 13 (A Thousand Names of Lord Balarama) of Canto 8 (balabhadra-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

गङ्गा-कूले ऽथ कालिन्दी-
कूले देवालये तथा
सहस्रावार्त-पाठेन
बलात् सिद्धिह् प्राजयते

gaṅgā-kūle 'tha kālindī-
kūle devālaye tathā
sahasrāvārta-pāṭhena
balāt siddhih prājayate

gaṅgā-kūle—on the bank of the Gaṅgā; athathen; kālindī-kūle—on the bank of the Yamunā; devālaye—in the temple of the Lord; tathā—so; sahasrāvārta—a thousand times; pāṭhena—by reciting; balāt—from Lord Balarāma; siddhih—perfection; prājayate—is born.

English translation of verse 8.13.134:

By reciting these names a thousand times on the Gaṅgā's shore, on the Yamunā's shore, or in the Lord's temple, by Lord Balarāma's mercy one attains perfection.
