सर्वत्र गोपिक-गितम् दधि-चब्देन मिच्रितम् विथ्यम् विथ्यम् ततह् च्र्न्वन् विस्मितच् चोद्धवो ऽब्रवित्

sarvatra gopika-gitam dadhi-cabdena micritam vithyam vithyam tatah crnvan vismitac coddhavo 'bravit

sarvatraeverywhere; gopika-gitam—the gopis' song; dadhi-cabdena—with the sound of yougrt; micritam—mixed; vithyam—on path; vithyam—after path; tatah—then; crnvan—hearing; vismitah—astonished; ca—and; uddhavah—Uddhava; abravit—said.

Hearing on every path the gopis' songs and the sounds of yogurt being churned, Uddhava, filled with wonder, said:
