The Garga-samhita Verse 5.8.34, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 8 (The Killing of Kamsa) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

सम्परेतं भोज-राजं
भूमौ तं विचकर्ष ह
यथा मृगेन्द्रो नागेन्द्रं
सर्वेषां पश्यतां नृप

samparetaṃ bhoja-rājaṃ
bhūmau taṃ vicakarṣa ha
yathā mṛgendro nāgendraṃ
sarveṣāṃ paśyatāṃ nṛpa

samparetam—dead; bhoja-rājam—Kaṃsa; bhūmau—on the ground; tam—him; vicakarṣa—dragged; ha—indeed; yathā—as; mṛgendraḥ—a lion; nāgendram—an elephant; sarveṣām—of all; paśyatām—looking; nṛpaO king.

English translation of verse 5.8.34:

O king, as everyone looked on, Lord Kṛṣṇa dragged the dead Kaṃsa across the ground as a lion drags a great elephant.
