The Garga-samhita Verse 5.1.22, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 1 (Advice to Kamsa) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

उग्रसेनं च पितरं
वृद्धं राज्य-समुत्सुकम्
तत्-पश्चाद् यादवान् सर्वान्
हनिष्यामि न संशयः

ugrasenaṃ ca pitaraṃ
vṛddhaṃ rājya-samutsukam
tat-paścād yādavān sarvān
haniṣyāmi na saṃśayaḥ

ugrasenam—Ugrasenba; ca—and; pitaram—father; vṛddham—old; rājya-samutsukam—still eager to rule his kingdom; tat-paścātafter that; yādavān—the Yadavas; sarvān—all; haniṣyāmi—I will jkill; na—no; saṃśayaḥ—doubt.

English translation of verse 5.1.22:

Then I will kill my old father, who still yearns to rule his kingdom, and then I will kill all the Yādavas. Of this there is no doubt.
