The Garga-samhita Verse 2.7.9, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 7 (Kidnapping of the Calves and Cowherd Boys) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

वयं तु किं करिष्यामो
ऽस्मात् पार्श्वे न तु भोजनम्
नन्द-ग्रामं तु दूरं हि
गच्छामो वत्सकैर् वयं

vayaṃ tu kiṃ kariṣyāmo
'smāt pārśve na tu bhojanam
nanda-grāmaṃ tu dūraṃ hi
gacchāmo vatsakair vayaṃ

vayam—we; tu—indeed; kim—what; kariṣyāmaḥ—will do; asmāt—of us; pārśve—on the side; na—not; tu—indeed; bhojanam—lunch; nandaof Nanda; grāmam—the village; tu—indeed; dūram—far away; hi—indeed; gacchāmaḥ—we go; vatsakaiḥ—with the calves; vayam—we.

English translation of verse 2.7.9:

We did not bring any lunch. With the calves we have come very far from Nanda's village.
