The Garga-samhita Verse 2.7.8, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 7 (Kidnapping of the Calves and Cowherd Boys) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

अथ केचिद् बालकाश् च
येषां पार्श्वे न भोजनम्
ते तु कृष्णस्य कर्णान्ते
जगदुर् दीनया गिरा

atha kecid bālakāś ca
yeṣāṃ pārśve na bhojanam
te tu kṛṣṇasya karṇānte
jagadur dīnayā girā

athathen; kecit—some; bālakāḥboys; ca—and; yeṣām—of them; pārśve—on the side; na—not; bhojanam—lunch; te—they; tu—indeed; kṛṣṇasya—of Kṛṣṇa; karṇānte—in the ear; jagaduḥ—spoke; dīnayā girāwith a whisper.
