The Garga-samhita Verse 1.19.17, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. पाततेनापि सब्दो ऽभूत्
प्रचण्डो वज्र-पातवत्
विनिर्गतौ च वृक्षाभ्यां
देवौ द्वाव् एधसो ऽग्नि-वत्

pātatenāpi sabdo 'bhūt
pracaṇḍo vajra-pātavat
vinirgatau ca vṛkṣābhyāṃ
devau dvāv edhaso 'gni-vat

pātatena—by the falling; api—also; śabdaḥsound; abhūt—was; pracaṇḍaḥviolent; vajra-pātavat—like a thunderbolt; vinirgatau—emerged; ca—also; vṛkṣābhyām—from the two trees; devau—demigods; dvau—two; edhasaḥ agni-vat—effulgent as fires.

English translation of verse 1.19.17:

The violent sound of their falling was like thunder. From the two trees emerged two demigods splendid as fire.
