The Garga-samhita Verse 1.6.6, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 6 (Description of Kamsa’s Strength) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

कालनेमिर् उवाच
ब्रह्माण्डे ये स्थिता देवा
विष्णु-मूला महा-बलाः
तेषां हस्तैर् न मे मृत्युः
पूर्णानाम् अपि मा भवेत्

kālanemir uvāca
brahmāṇḍe ye sthitā devā
viṣṇu-mūlā mahā-balāḥ
teṣāṃ hastair na me mṛtyuḥ
pūrṇānām api mā bhavet

kālanemiḥ uvāca—Kālanemi said; brahmāṇḍe—in the universe; ye—who; sthitāḥ—stays; devāḥ—demigods; viṣṇuViṣṇu; mūlāḥ—at the root; mahā-balāḥvery powerful; teṣām—of them; hastaiḥ—by the hands; na—not; me—of me; mṛtyuḥ—death; pūrṇānām—all; api—even; mā—may not; bhavet—be.

English translation of verse 1.6.6:

Kālanemi said: May my death not come from the hands of any or all of the very powerful demigods, who have Lord Viṣṇu as their root.
