The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.305, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 305 of Madhya-khanda chapter 2—“The Lord’s Manifestation at the House of Shrivasa and the Inauguration of Sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.305:

“ওহে শ্রীনিবাস! কিছু মনে ভয পাও? শুনি,—তোমা ধরিতে আইসে রাজ-নাও? ॥ ৩০৫ ॥

“ओहे श्रीनिवास! किछु मने भय पाओ? शुनि,—तोमा धरिते आइसे राज-नाओ? ॥ ३०५ ॥

“ohe śrīnivāsa! kichu mane bhaya pāo? śuni,—tomā dharite āise rāja-nāo? || 305 ||

“ohe srinivasa! kichu mane bhaya pao? suni,—toma dharite aise raja-nao? (305)

English translation:

(305) “O Śrīnivāsa! Are you afraid of something? Is there some rumor that the King’s boat is coming to arrest you?

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word nāo (from the Sanskrit word nau and the Maithila Hindi word

nāva) means “boat.”
