The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.1.367, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 367 of Madhya-khanda chapter 1—“The Beginning of the Lord’s Manifestation and His Instructions on Krishna-sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.1.367:

দশ দিন ধরি’ আজি পাঠ-বাদ হয কহিতে তোমারে সবে বাসি বড ভয ॥ ৩৬৭ ॥

दश दिन धरि’ आजि पाठ-वाद हय कहिते तोमारे सबे वासि बड भय ॥ ३६७ ॥

daśa dina dhari’ āji pāṭha-vāda haya kahite tomāre sabe vāsi baḍa bhaya || 367 ||

dasa dina dhari’ aji patha-vada haya kahite tomare sabe vasi bada bhaya (367)

English translation:

(367) “For the last ten days our studies have been held up, and we were afraid to inform You of this.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The phrase pāṭha-vāda means “a cessation, stoppage, or rejection of teaching and learning.”
