Simuliyā (सिमुलिया) is the Sanskrit name for a holy place on the island called Sīmantadvīpa. According to Navadvīpa-dhāma-māhātmya (parikramā-khaṇḍa 6.42): “With the passing of time, this island (sīmantadvīpa) will be flooded by the Gaṅgā, and only one sacred place, Simuliyā, will be left.”
