Santānavallī (सन्तानवल्ली) refers to the “lineage of the family”, according to the Ṭīkā (commentary) on the Manthānabhairavatantra, a vast sprawling work that belongs to a corpus of Tantric texts concerned with the worship of the goddess Kubjikā.—Accordingly, “Then who and how is the teacher and by whom and where is he worshipped? It is said: ‘(His) nature is the future’. The lord of the Lineage of the Eldest is Oḍīśanātha. He should be worshipped in the lineage of the family (santānavallī) of the Eldest. What is attained there? The supreme state, that is, (ultimate) reality. [...]”..
