2) [noun] ಕುಡಿಕೆ ಹಣ [kudike hana] kuḍike haṇa (fig.) a meagre amount of money saved up for the future; ಕುಳಿತು ತಿಂದರೆ ಕುಡಿಕೆ ಹಣ ಸಾಲುತ್ತದೆಯೇ [kulitu timdare kudike hana saluttadeye]? kuḷitu tindare kuḍike haṇa sāluttadeyē? (prov.) money saved can save you from a contingent, but is not a substitute for earning.
