Kārakatu Perumāl is the name of a deity depicted at the Ulagalantha Perumal Temple in Kanchipuram (Kāñcīpuram), representing a sacred place for the worship of Viṣṇu.—Viṣṇu is found seated in sukhāsana posture with a snake on his head. The lord is found with four hands. The attributes are the same as that of Nīrakatu Perumāl. The sitting posture can be termed aindra-maṇḍala in dance.
