Kaṇḍa-muhūrta (कण्ड-मुहूर्त):—Name for a specific portion or phase of the day, used in ancient India during Vedic times. Kaṇḍa means “ornament” and muhūrta means “division of time”, in this case, a 30th part of a day. This is the twenty-fourth muhūrta of a day.
