Ghuṭanā (घुटना):—(v) to be suffocated; to experience suffocation; to be clean-shaven; (nm) a knee; [ghuṭa-ghuṭa kara jāna denā] to fret out one’s life, to be gradually suffocated to death; [ghuṭane ṭekanā] to knuckle down/under, to yield; to accept subordination; [ghuṭanoṃ ke bala calanā] to move on all fours (as a child); [ghuṭanoṃ meṃ sira denā] to be engrossed in some worry/thought; [ghuṭā huā] cunning and clever; clean-shaven.
