Doṣasaṃcaya (दोषसंचय) refers to the “stage of accumulation of Doṣa”, according to the Jvaranirṇaya: an Ayurvedic manuscript dealing exclusively with types of jvara (fevers) written by Sri Nārāyaṇa Paṇḍita in the 16th century CE.—The causes for endogenous fevers (nija-jvara) are explained in different stages like: [e.g., stage of accumulation of doṣa (doṣa-saṃcaya)] [...] It is mentioned that in the stage of Caya, there is dislike towards similar attributes (guṇa) and liking/affinity towards dissimilar guṇa. This feature is exhibited in mild (hīna) form, in the stage of Prakopa it is in moderate (madhyama) form and in the stage of Prasāra it is in severe (vṛddha) form.

Doṣasaṃcaya (दोषसंचय) refers to a “mass of imperfections”, according to the Anuvyākhyāna (ed. Kumbhakonam) III. 4. 224 ff. [5-6] (p. 62 a).—Accordingly, [Note: Automated translation from French]—“Salvation comes from the God made favorable by Bhakti, also all the Śruti, as well as the Purāṇa and the Āgama, they say its perfections. If salvation were achieved through hatred, we would have to say a mass of imperfections (doṣasaṃcaya). Sometimes (the author) in a Purāṇa expresses its qualities by the comparison of hatred, to signify that the Blessed must be constantly present in thought; as it is with angry words, as when the angry father says to his son ‘die’, with a (simple) intention of reproach”
