Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionaryāyatyā piṭhāvara rēghā ōḍhaṇēṃ (आयत्या पिठावर रेघा ओढणें) [or गुटका मारणें, guṭakā māraṇēṃ].—To riot and revel upon patrimonial or ready-got wealth. āyatyāvara kōyatā (A wood-bill falling upon wood ready-prepared to split or yield.) Used of one coming in towards the close of some struggle or labor to reap the honors or the fruits of it. Used also in expression of lavishness or free indulgence where the material is another's, or has been obtained without cost: answering to āyatyāvara rāyatēṃ karaṇēṃ To spend or use out of one's present stock. āyatyā vēḷēsa Upon occasion; upon (the emergency, event &c.) arrived; at the moment of need. āyatyā biḷīṃ nāgōbā baḷī (or gōsāvī) Said of one who seizes and uses the fruit of another's labor.
