Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionaryaṅgaṭhā (अंगठा).—m (aṅguṣṭa S) A thumb or a great toe. 2 A form of dovetailing. 3 Used like hāḍa, kāṭhī, dhaja &c. in the sense of Frame, make, build. aṃ0 dākhaviṇēṃ (To show the thumb.) To refuse or deny. In con. with lā or sa, aṅgaṭhyācī āga mastakānta jāṇēṃ To be filled with rage or anger (from aṃ0 to mastaka). aṅgaṭhyāvara divasa mōjaṇēṃ To count the days (preceding some desired event). ajhūna aṅgaṭhyālā āga lāgalī nāhīṃ (dēha jaḷāyācā). Used where one sinks at the mere contemplation of an approaching evil.
