Shaivism (Shaiva philosophy)
Source: Brill: Śaivism and the Tantric TraditionsAdhyātmasaṃsthita (अध्यात्मसंस्थित) refers to “that which is located internally”, according to the Tantrasadbhāva (verse 6.218): an important Trika Tantra and a major authority for Kashmiri Trika Śaivites.—Accordingly, “After viewing the inner externally, one who [also] knows the outer to be located internally (adhyātmasaṃsthita) will attain success, purified by contemplation of their identity (?)”.
Shaiva (शैव, śaiva) or Shaivism (śaivism) represents a tradition of Hinduism worshiping Shiva as the supreme being. Closely related to Shaktism, Shaiva literature includes a range of scriptures, including Tantras, while the root of this tradition may be traced back to the ancient Vedas.
