The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.296; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

श्रवणोत्कीर्तनादीनि वैध-भक्त्य्-उदितानि तु ।
यान्य् अङ्गानि च तान्य् अत्र विज्ञेयानि मनीषिभिः ॥१.२.२९६॥

śravaṇotkīrtanādīni vaidha-bhakty-uditāni tu |
yāny aṅgāni ca tāny atra vijñeyāni manīṣibhiḥ ||1.2.296||

English translation

“The discriminating practitioners should accept the aṅgas that were mentioned in vaidhī-bhakti, such as hearing and chanting, as aṅgas of rāgānuga-bhakti.”
