एकदा याज्ञवल्क्यस् तु
मुनीन्द्रस् तम् उपागतः
तं नत्वाभ्यर्च्य विधिवन्
नृपस् तत्-सम्मुखे स्थितः
ekadā yājñavalkyas tu
munīndras tam upāgataḥ
taṃ natvābhyarcya vidhivan
nṛpas tat-sammukhe sthitaḥ
ekadā—once; yājñavalkyaḥ—Yāj 24avalkya; tu—indeed; munīndraḥ—the king of sages; tam—him; upāgataḥ—attained; tam—to him; natvā—bowing; abhyarcya—worshiping; vidhivat—properly; nṛpaḥ—the king; tat-sammukhe—before him; sthitaḥ—stood.
English translation of verse 4.5.6:
One day Yājñavalkya, the king of sages, visited. The king bowed down, worshiped him, and stood respectfully before him.
