The Garga-samhita Verse 2.22.20, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 22 (The Rasa-dance Pastime) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

टम् अद्यैवाग्रसन् मत्स्यो
योजनार्ध-वपुर् धरः
तन् निर्जगार पौण्डुस् तु
मत्स्य-रूप-धरो ऽसुरः

ṭam adyaivāgrasan matsyo
yojanārdha-vapur dharaḥ
tan nirjagāra pauṇḍus tu
matsya-rūpa-dharo 'suraḥ

tam—him; adyanow; eva—indeed; agrasat—swalloed; matsyaḥa fish; yojanārdha-vapuḥ—four miles long; dharaḥ—holding; tat—that; nirjagāra— swallowed; pauṇḍuḥ—white; tu—indeed; matsya-rūpa-dharaḥ—manifesting the form of a fish; asuraḥ—a demon.

English translation of verse 2.22.20:

Today a four-mile-long fish swallowed him. Then a demon in the form of an even larger white fish swallowed that fish.
