बाल-केलिर् बभौ नृत्यन्
मातुः पर्श्वम् अनुभ्रमन्
सुनादि-किङ्किनी-सङ्घ-
झङ्कारं कारयन् मुहुः
bāla-kelir babhau nṛtyan
mātuḥ parśvam anubhraman
sunādi-kiṅkinī-saṅgha-
jhaṅkāraṃ kārayan muhuḥ
bāla—child; keliḥ—pastimes; babhau—manifested; nṛtyan—dancing; mātuḥ—of His mother; parśvam—the side; anubhraman—following; sunādi—melodious; kiṅkinī—tinkling ornaments; saṅgha—multitude; jhaṅkāram—tinkling; kārayan—making; muhuḥ—again and again.
English translation of verse 1.19.4:
Dancing, following His mother, and making His ornaments jingle sweetly, He played as a child.
