सा यशोदा समेत्याशु
प्राह गोपी रुषान्विता
भाण्डं भग्नी-कृतं सर्वं
मुषितं दध्य् अनेन वै
sā yaśodā sametyāśu
prāha gopī ruṣānvitā
bhāṇḍaṃ bhagnī-kṛtaṃ sarvaṃ
muṣitaṃ dadhy anena vai
sā—she; yaśodā—Yaśodā; sametya—coming; āśu—quickly; prāha—said; gopī—gopī; ruṣānvitā—angry; bhāṇḍam—the jug; bhagnī-kṛtam—broken; sarvam—everything; muṣitam—stolen; dadhi—yogurt; anena—by Him; vai—certainly.
English translation of verse 1.17.35:
Yaśodā quickly came. The angry gopī said, "He broke a jug and stole all the yogurt in it."
