ततो भौमासुरः प्राप्तः
प्रलम्बाद्य्-असुरैर् नदन्
तेन नादेन देवास् ते
निपेतुर् मूर्छिता रणे
tato bhaumāsuraḥ prāptaḥ
pralambādy-asurair nadan
tena nādena devās te
nipetur mūrchitā raṇe
tato—then; bhaumāsuraḥ—Narakāsura; prāptaḥ—attained; pralamba-ādi—
English translation of verse 1.7.41:
headed by Pralamba; asurair—by the demons; nadan—sounding; tena—by that;
nādena—sound; devās—demigods; te—the; nipetur—fell; mūrchitās—
unconscious; raṇe—in the battleground.
Then, assisted by Pralamba and the other demons, Narakāsura came and made a great sound. That sound made the demigods fall unconscious on the battleground.
