The Garga-samhita Verse 1.6.11, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 6 (Description of Kamsa’s Strength) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

निपातयन् स शिबिरान्
मन्दिरान् भूभृतस् तटान्
रङ्ग-भूम्याम् आजगाम
यत्र कंसो ऽपि युध्यति

nipātayan sa śibirān
mandirān bhūbhṛtas taṭān
raṅga-bhūmyām ājagāma
yatra kaṃso 'pi yudhyati

nipātayan—causing to fall; saḥ—he; śibirāt—from the royal camp; mandirān—to the residences; bhūbhṛtasmountains; taṭān—surfaces; raṅga-bhūmyām—the arena; ājagāma—entered; yatrawhere; kaṃsaḥKaṃsa; api—even; yudhyati—fights.

English translation of verse 1.6.11:

It ran from the royal camp to the mountains and entered an arena where Kaṃsa was fighting.
