Verse 5.24.1

स य इदमविद्वाग्निहोत्रं जुहोति यथाङ्गारानपोह्य भस्मनि जुहुयात्तादृक्तत्स्यात् ॥ ५.२४.१ ॥

sa ya idamavidvāgnihotraṃ juhoti yathāṅgārānapohya bhasmani juhuyāttādṛktatsyāt || 5.24.1 ||

1. If a person performs the Agnihotra sacrifice without knowing anything about the Vaiśvānara Self, it will be like offering oblations into ashes instead of the fire.
